St. John Paul II gave 129 catecheses on love, human sexuality and marriage. Thousands of people began to discover the treasure hidden in these writings. The Theology of the Body was born.

CHRISTOPHER WEST FOUNDS THE THEOLOGY OF THE BODY INSTITUTE
Christopher West, then a young American, came across this dream of St. John Paul II and was so impressed by it that he transformed his life forever and dedicated it entirely to the transmission of these catecheses to the whole world from the Theology of the Body Institute.

"The Way of Beauty" is a course valid for certification in Theology of the Body with the Theology of the Body Institute. IMPORTANT: To take this course you do not need to have previously taken any other Theology of the Body course.

¿WHAT IS THE WAY OF BEAUTY?

FOR THE FIRST TIME

More than a training, it is an experience designed to excite through art and beauty; to reach the Creator, through the beauty of creation, of man and woman. The challenge of this training: to discover the uncreated beauty (Him) starting from the created beauty. To reach Him through His creation, through man and woman, through His creatures… and to convert this experience into a way of evangelization.

Poetry, music, cinema, sculpture, painting… oriented to make your heart soar towards the beauty of the Creator, by the hand of St. John Paul II.

Up to now, to experience this unique five-day immersion, it was necessary to travel to the U.S., a high investment in flights, and a 12-hour plane ride across the Atlantic. Now, the “Instituto Desarrollo y Persona” of the UFV brings to you this 100% face-to-face training that thousands of people have already taken.

THE PROGRAM AND ACADEMIC VALIDITY

The Way of Beauty is an official TOB Institute course held for the first time in Europe.

The TOB Institute certification program currently requires 8 courses. Six of these are «core» courses and two are optional or «elective» courses. To obtain certification, therefore, the student must take a total of 8 courses.

Well, at the moment the TOB Institute offers 6 elective courses in the USA, from which the student has to choose the 2 that prefers.

The Way of Beauty is one of those 6 optional courses that we bring you to Spain.

To sum up: this course is useful for certification, as it is one of the 2 optional courses that will be required if you want to complete this training path.

Attention: To take this course, you do not need previous training in theology of the body, nor do you need to have already taken a course with the TOB Institute.

The Instituto Desarrollo y Persona of the UFV and the TOB Institute are committed to bring to Spain the full certification of this Theology of the Body Program.

Students who register for this training in Madrid will obtain the same certificate as if they did it at the TOB Institute’s headquarters in Philadelphia.

  • No previous training is required to attend this event.

  • The minimum age is 18 years old.

  • It is not possible to record the sessions in any case.

  • Monday July 4th to Friday July 8th

You are going to be a student of the I Edition of this course in Europe.

BILL DONAGHY​

You will be challenged by a lecturer who is an expert in "opening the heart" of his students.

You will receive the official degree of the Theology of the Body Institute and 3 ECTS credits from the Francisco de Vitoria University.

SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE
